It was a very foggy start to the day and we couldn't even see the houses at the other side of the lake. Visibility on the drive to work was pretty bad and there was reports of fog and snow in Calgary.

It did not feel too cold today (-7 on the drive to work) and by around 9am the sun was shining and the sky was blue and almost cloudless.

The wind really picked up mid-morning and it was quite strong. It also made it feel much colder than it was. The wind had died down by mid-afternoon.
