It was a dull and cloudy start to the day and it had snowed quite heavily overnight. It was -7 at 8.30am so the snow on the roads was quite slippery and lots of caution was needed. It continued to snow lightly on and off for most of the morning. It did warm up to about -3 and the snow did begin to melt.
