It was a bright start to the day with a fair bit of light cloud cover. There was a huge Chinook Arch over the mountains and it was -3 at 8.30am, so it had warmed up 30 degrees in 24 hours! Our temperature guage was showing +10 in the sunshine and it felt like a lovely spring day.

This morning the roads were already quite slushy with the snow that had melted overnight.
