It was -4 first thing and clear blue sky. By mid morning it was very bright and sunny. By noon it was +2 and felt quite nice in the sunshine as long as wrapped up.

It was -8 at around 9am this morning. It was quite cloudy, but it did brighten up during the afternoon and we saw some blue sky and sunshine. It felt quite cold today, and the wind started to pick up around 5pm. but it didn't last long.

It was a warmer start than yesterday at -5 but it was dull, cloudy and snowy. It snowed lightly for most of the morning. It was quite a nice afternoon and the sun tried to shine.

It was a cold start at -10 but quite bright with a mix of blue sky and light cloud.  It warmed up to around -3 but it didn't feel too bad.

 It was -2 and sunny and bright first thing with a few light clouds. By mid morning the sky was bright blue and virtually cloudless. It was lovely and sunny and felt quite pleasant out and snow was continuing to melt.  Temperatures reached around +5 and it felt quite nice in the sunshine.  The wind started to pick up at around 2.30pm but it was still warm.

It was considerably watmer this morning and just -5 first thing. There was a fair bit of cloud, but we could see some blue sky and it was quite bright on the whole. Temperatures reached +2 and some of the snow was becoming slushy and melting.

It was another white and overcast start to the day. It was very cold and -29.5 at 8.30am. They are suggesting a wind chill of -40 today. We weren't outside for very long, but for the short time that we were, it was actually OK.

It was a white and overcast start to the day and very cold.  It had been snowing lightly overnight. It was -19 first thing and they were suggesting a wind chill making it feel like -32 and it did feel bitterly cold today.

It was another white and very snowy start. It had been snowing a lot overnight and it was all quite deep again this morning. It was -13.5 at 8.30am with no sun, felt very cold.  By around mid-day, the day had begun to brighten and we saw some blue sky and sunshine.
