It was a lovely bright start to the day. It was +16 by around 11am with clear blue sky and sunshine and it reached +25 by around 3pm when it started to cloud over. There was a cool breeze by around 5pm.

We had a 20 minute storm at around 6pm, it started to thunder and rain which turned into marble sized hail, but only briefly. It was +17 at 8.30pm and it felt quite cold. The wind really picked up around 8.00pm and continued into the evening.

It was a bit of a cloudy start, but that had mainly cleared by around 10am and it was clear blue sky and sunshine. By noon it was +25 and very hot in the sun. The wind picked up for a bit but it was still very warm.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day with virtually no cloud, just lots of blue sky. It was +14 at 08.30am and it is predicted to get up to +28 today. It was a lovely hot sunny day all day.

These trees are the same bare trees we photographed on 1st May. Pretty much everything now is green and growing well.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day with a bit of light cloud cover and lots of blue sky. It felt very warm even at 08.30am. It was a beautiful hot and sunny day all day.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day with a few fluffy clouds and lots of blue sky. It was +22 at lunchtime and lovely and warm and sunny. This picture was taken at the golf course, proving that golf can be played in Alberta, if only in the summer.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day with a bit of light cloud cover. It was +14 by around 8.30am and the cloud was beginning to clear. It was +20 at mid-day, but it had clouded over and started to feel much cooler. There was a chinook arch over the mountains in the afternoon so hopefully the warm weather will stay with us for a while.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day with a bit of light cloud cover which remained all day. It was +13 by 8.30am and +19 by mid-day. It was very hot. By around 4pm the cloud had got much thicker and a cool wind had started to pick up.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day. There was quite a cool breeaze blowing first thing, but as the day went on it reached +26 today and was really very hot in the sun.

It was a bright, sunny and cloudless start to the day at +5 and there was a fairly cool breeze. By mid-day it was around +13 and the breeze didn't feel quite so cool. It was +17 at around 5pm, but it remained breezy. Still a very nice day though.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day. There were a few clouds in the sky but most of them had gone by around 9am. It was +3 at 8.30am. By mid morning it had really warmed up, but a few white fluffy clouds had started to appear. By around 1pm it was very warm in the sun, but there was a slight breeze out of it. It was a lovely bright, sunny & warm afternoon.

We were quite shocked to wake up to snow this morning. It was a very grey and overcast sky with no sunshine. It was +1 on the drive to work. The roads were clear, but there were reports of slippery conditions much earlier on. By around 10.30am most of the snow had melted away. It still felt quite cool at mid-day and it took until around 5pm before the cloud finally started to clear and the sky began to brighten.
This Weather Warning has been issued today:
The unseasonably cool conditions are expected to persist for the next few nights. Skies are expected to gradually clear this evening resulting in the significant potential for frost overnight into Thursday morning.

It was a cloudy start to the day again and the ground was wet, so it must have been raining over night. By around 08.30 the sun was trying to shine and by 09.00am a lot of the cloud had cleared and it was blue sky and sunny with just some thin fluffy white cloud left. It was +3 on the drive to work, but there was a wind chill, making it feel more like -5. By mid-day it had warmed up to +15 and although the wind was still blowing, it was a fairly warm wind. By early evening a storm had started to roll in from the mountains and the wind started to feel cold. The picutre above shows the storm coming in from one side and the picture below shows the sky in the other direction.

It was a cloudy start to the day and really quite cold at +2. The ground was wet so it must have been raining over night. It was a grey, drizzly and cool day. We didn't see any sun today.

It was a fairly cloudy start to the day but quite warm. The clouds did clear so there was lots of blue sky and just a bit of light whispy cloud cover. By around 1pm it was +24 and very hot. The wind picked up at around 2pm but it remained hot. By around 7.30pm it was really very windy, but still warm. We needed to bring in some of the garden furniture and non-hardy pot plants. There is a weather warning over most of Alberta this evening although, Okotoks and the south seems to have escaped it.

It was a lovely, bright, sunny and cloudless start to the day. By around noon it was +17. It felt very warm in the sun but as there was a breeze, it felt quite cool out of it. By around 2pm it had really warmed up and it was very hot. Our grass had its first cut of the season today and some greenery is beginning to appear in the garden.

There was frost on the roof tops and on the cars this morning so it had obviously been cold overnight. It was a bright, sunny and cloudless sky this morning and +3. There was quite a lot of cloud cover around mid-day for about 2 hours and it looked like it was going to rain, but it only rained a few spots. For the rest of the day it was blue sky, sunshine and a few white fluffy clouds.

It was a fairly bright start to the day but there was a lot of cloud cover. It didn't feel cold though. We had some sunny spells and it looked like it was going to brighten up a few times throughout the day. By 1pm it had started to rain and there was quite a cold wind. By around 3.30pm the rain had stopped, and it looked as though it was trying to brighten up by 5pm the cloud had thickened again and there looked to be a storm over the mountains. The clouds started to clear at around 7.30pm and quite a lot of blue sky could be seen.

It was a fairly bright start to the day with some thin cloud cover. The cloud over the mountains was quite thick and dark. It was +1 at around 08.30. It didn't feel too cold in the sun but cool out of it. By mid-day there was lots of blue sky with a few white whispy clouds. It was very sunny but it wasn't as warm as it looked as there was a cool breeze. The cloud got much thicker as the day wore on.

It was a fairly bright start to the day, but there was a lot of cloud over the mountains and there looked to be a storm developing. It was +8 at around 08.30, but it felt quite cool. By around 11am it had started to rain lighlty but not for long. It then rained on and off until around 3pm, when it rained fairly continually for the rest of the afternoon and at around 4.30pm it was beginning to turn into sleet but only for a few minutes. It stopped raining at around 6pm and the wind really picked up at about 9pm and continued into the early hours.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day with a bit of white cloud cover. The cloud got heavier and by around 10am there wasn't much blue sky to be seen. It remained fine all day until around 5pm when we had a very brief and light shower. It felt quite coold today.

It was a bright and sunny start to the day with just a few white fluffy clouds. It was +7 this morning but there was quite a cool breeze. By lunchtime the clouds had got heavier and it looked as though a storm was coming in over the mountains. By around 2pm it went quite dark and it began to rain, hailstone and it was thundering and lightening. The storm only lasted around 30 minutes and it tried to brighten up a bit. By around 3.30pm the clouds thickened again and it continued to rain. It started to brighten up again at around 5pm, the clouds cleared and the sun came out.

There was thick cloud and no sunshine this morning. The temperature was +7 and it rained lightly on the drive to work. The rain got heavier and it rained on and off all morning. The rain was quite heavy between around 11am to 12noon which then turned into snow, by 1pm it had turned back to rain again and the temperature had dropped to +1. The rain continued until about 3pm and it tried to brighten up at around 4.30pm but didn't succeed as it was raining again by 5pm which continued into the early evening.

It was a fairly cloudy start this morning and there was a bit of a breeze, making it feel colder than yesterday, although still quite pleasant. The clouds did clear by mid morning and the sun was shining.

The wind continued getting stronger throughout the day, making it feel really quite cold. By around 1pm the clouds had got thicker again and they sky looked quite threatening over the mountains. It was showing +17 on the drive home from work and the wind had died down by early evening.

It was a bright start to the day but there was a fair bit of cloud cover. It was +12 by 11am and the temperature rose steadily throughout the day. The sky cleared and there were a few fluffy white clouds. It was another beautiful day.

There was a light frost on the roof tops and ground this morning and the water in the bird bath still freezes solid overnight. It was showing +1 on the drive to work and it was bright, sunny and cloudless start to the day. It does not feel cold at all.

By mid-day it was +10 and sunny and the sky was still cloudless.

It is hard to believe though that these trees will ever grow leaves!
