There is a weather watch in place this afternoon in Okotoks, High River & Claresholm

This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds. If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety precautions.

Thunderstorms have developed along the foothills. A few of these thunderstorms may become severe with hail approaching 2 cm and gusty winds.
