It was a fairly cloudy and frosty start, but there were some blue patches of sky. It was -3 at 8.30am and quite cool. It to snow lightly at around 2pm and the temperature was +2. By 5pm it was -4 and the snow that had fallen had frozen onto the car and for the first time in two years we had to scrape ice from the car. The roads were also icy and it was quite windy, so the drive home wasn't a very pleasant one.
