It was a bright and sunny start to the day with lots of blue sky. It was +5 in Okotoks, but only -3 in Calgary.

It was calm to start with, but the following wind warning is in place today:

These strong winds will continue to Progress eastward into Brooks, Hanna, Medicine Hat and Cypress Hills in the afternoon. Strong winds are expected to diminish below warning criteria in the evening.
It did get very windy as the day went on, it was +14 by noon, and the wind was nowhere near as cold as yesterday. It was bright and sunny for most of the day but we could see a storm coming from over the mountains, we had a rain shower for about 20 minutes and then it was bright and sunny again. By early evening the wind had almost completely died down.
