It was bright and warm start with a bit of light cloud. Temperatures rose to +27 and it was very hot. We started to get rumblings of thunder at around 7pm when it clouded over.

Severe thunderstorms are expected this evening.

This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.

A warm and humid airmass over the province today is producing intense thunderstorms this evening. These storms have developed along the foothills and will slowly move eastward. The main concerns with these storms are marble to quarter sized hail, heavy downpours, and strong gusty winds.
